About the Role As a Senior Associate in the Project Finance team, you will work across a broad range of cross-border transactions, including greenfield project financing, refinancing, acquisition finance, and multi-sourced funding structures. You’ll lead negotiations, draft complex finance documents, and coordinate advice across jurisdictions, working closely with international colleagues, clients, and counterparties. This role offers immediate access to headline deals and large-scale mandates spanning energy transition, critical minerals, transport infrastructure, and export finance. You’ll have exposure to global institutions, international clients, and some of the most sophisticated work in the region. Key Responsibilities Lead the structuring and negotiation of complex project finance transactions Advise clients on debt arrangements, security structures, and multi-sourced financings Draft and review finance and project documentation Coordinate with clients, banks, sponsors, and international legal teams Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentoring, and team development Support client relationship development and pitch preparation Practice Focus Project finance and acquisition finance across energy, infrastructure, and resources Greenfield and brownfield development projects Cross-border, multi-jurisdictional financings involving lenders, sponsors, and ECAs Structured finance, syndicated lending, and multi-sourced funding models Legal advisory across the full financing lifecycle—from term sheet to financial close Candidate Profile You are a senior lawyer with proven project finance experience at a top-tier or international firm. You combine strong technical skills with the confidence to lead transactions and interface directly with major clients.
