The business is part of a well-established venue undergoing a full-scale renovation, with ambitious plans to grow into a multi-location restaurant brand. This is a rare opportunity for a traditional-style pizza chef , ideally with a background in Italian cuisine, to play a lead role in the creation and ongoing success of an authentic, high-volume pizzeria concept. The position not only offers a competitive salary of up to $90,000 superannuation , but also presents a unique pathway to equity or partnership as the brand expands. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the pizza kitchen team in delivering high-quality, traditional-style pizzas Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, hygiene, and presentation standards Maintain responsibility for ordering, stock control, and kitchen cost management Collaborate on menu development and contribute to creating a memorable dining experience Play an integral role in the launch, with opportunities to grow alongside the business What We're Looking For: A skilled and experienced pizza chef with a deep knowledge of authentic Italian techniques and flavours Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen or pizzeria environment Strong leadership qualities and a passion for mentoring junior kitchen staff Solid understanding of kitchen operations including ordering, stock management, and food safety An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to be part of a growing restaurant brand Visa Sponsorship & Relocation: International candidates are encouraged to apply.
