The Financial Crime Operations (FCO) team is looking for Senior Analyst to join our Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Finance (CTF) team focussed on Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) and Transaction Monitoring (TM.) CommBank’s FCO is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the group’s financial crime shared services. FCO leads the Group’s approach to managing AML / CTF, and Sanctions risks and obligations. This enables our team to provide world class prevention and detection of Financial Crime to safeguard the Group and wider community through our expertise, insights and quality. The Role. The Financial Crime Operations Senior Analyst is responsible for conducting risk reporting and investigation activities. This is achieved by collaborating closely with our customers, stakeholders, and colleagues. As a result, you will be required to forge strong relationships with business stakeholders and other FC teams to drive outcomes. You will report to the Manager, Financial Crime Operations (FCO) and will work closely with the key stakeholders throughout the organisation to ensure The Group maintains compliance regarding AML/CTF obligations. Salary for the position starting from $80,000 dependant on experience level Other responsibilities will include: Understand and carry out tasks using techniques documented in the Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs). Provide the required assessment and investigation of events in accordance with agreed Service level Agreements (SLAs) as per Customer Value Proposition (CVP). Prompt escalation of issues/risks identified within specified SLAs. Proactively identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) by using productivity tools to drive increased quality, process simplification or increased efficiency. Understand the AML/CTF & Sanctions all legal and regulatory requirements, landscape and internal compliance policies relating to your role and apply to the business. Demonstrate a clear understanding of end-to-end business processes that is relevant to own area of expertise. • Undertake additional tasks as directed by your Manager. Maintain an up-to-date focus on financial crime, security related trends and emerging issues, and share knowledge obtained. Review all cases submitted by the analysts ensuring at all times ensuring due diligence is applied to satisfy Group Standards. Demonstrate Group values as part of delivering your responsibilities.
