As a cook, your duties and responsibilities will be as follows: Cook food as per the menu Ensure the freshness of ingredients Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to the recipes Season foods during cooking Monitor inventory and minimise food waste Store food in temperature-controlled facilities Manage food preparation, portion control and hygiene standards Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness standards Assist in training junior kitchen staff Other requirements Certificate IV in commercial cookery/Kitchen Management or equivalent experience Minimum one year of experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and efficiently
