The Company Our client are an exciting market leader who as a result of growth are now looking to bring in an Inventory Controller to join their team. This key, business-critical role is based in Brisbane and reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager. You will play a pivotal role in inventory-related activities, managing product and customer master data in their system, conducting cycle counts and coordinating investigations across inventory discrepancies. This is a full-time, permanent position in a fast-paced environment, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact and join a business on the cusp of large growth. The Role Key responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to: Manage daily inventory tasks, including tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and working with internal and external warehouse teams. Support in addressing inventory issues, identify their root causes, and take corrective actions to maintain accurate stock records. This includes collaborating with other teams to improve inventory flow and support demand planning. Generate and analyse performance reports, supporting business operations and decision-making. Contribute to procedure updates (SOPs) and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required. Actively engage in CI activities to support cost-saving measures and improve overall processes. Your Background Ideally, 2 years of experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment or a similar role. Experience using ERP systems, is critical, as well as advanced Excel skills. Highly organised with excellent time management abilities, and a hunger to develop/grow. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a solutions-focused mindset. What’s on Offer?
