The Role A varied role working with a small team and potential for growth, you will report to the Finance Manager and your core responsibilities will include: Management of Accounts Payable & Receivable Ensuring accurate coding Processing payments daily in the banking & operational systems Working with multiple currencies Oversee costs relating to shipping such as fuel costs, hire payments, port fees and managing all expenses are received, approved and paid when due Managing AR outstandings & providing reports to the operations team with details of same General Ledger entries / reconciliations Assisting the accountant in providing relevant information to external audit team Ad hoc reporting as required Ensure that financial reports are prepared on a timely basis The Person You will have proven experience working in finance, specifically Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Certificate in Accounting / Bookkeeping is a plus but not required. As a strong communicator you will thrive with your problem-solving skills and excel with your ability to work with a team & make critical decisions relating to payments. Efficient time management and organisational skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritise will set you apart. You will be proficient in Microsoft excel. Knowledge of Veson Nautical - IMOS System and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are a plus but not essential.
