Key Responsibilities Safely operate high reach forklifts to pick and put away stock Load and unload refrigerated trucks and containers Transport palletized meat products throughout the warehouse and cold storage areas Conduct pre-start checks and maintain forklift equipment Use RF scanners or paper pick slips for inventory control Assist with stock rotation, inventory counts, and general warehouse housekeeping Skills & Experience Current and valid LF Forklift Licence (High Reach experience essential) Minimum 1-2 years' experience operating high reach forklifts Experience working in a cold storage or food/meat warehouse (highly regarded) Physically fit and comfortable working in chilled environments (0 to -20°C) Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable, punctual, and a team player Desirable Attributes Knowledge of HACCP and food handling standards Previous experience in meat processing, butchery, or wholesale distribution Work Conditions Work in refrigerated and freezer environments Early starts and potential for overtime All applicants must undergo and pass a medical fitness assessment prior to commencing.
