About the role As a Governance and Oversight Associate at Perpetual Corporate Trust, you will: Develop a good understanding of the service providers functions relevant to the Responsible Entity and Wholesale Trustee funds offered. Conduct daily reviews of service provider questionnaires including but not limited to Work Health & Safety (WHS) and Managed Investment Trust (MIT) compliance reporting received from providers to ensure in line with framework and obligations depending on product. Understand the legal, regulatory, compliance and risk frameworks in place that govern our funds. Assist and maintain data on Fiduciary Intelligence our proprietary to ensure kept up to date and relevant for each service provider in line with their services. Assist with user end testing on Fiduciary Intelligence prior to enhancements being implemented into production. Issue Due Diligence questionnaires for new providers and regular review questionnaires for existing providers, review responses and assist with preparing final reports. Complete Control Self Assessment (CSA) testing in accordance with CSA testing cycles. Assist with reporting to Management, the Compliance Committee, and the Board. Develop and maintain good understanding of Perpetual’s requirements, risk appetite, managed funds, and service providers. Develop and maintain good & effective relationships with service providers and internal stakeholders. Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required. About you The ideal candidate should have: A degree in law, business, accounting, economics, or a related field. Minimum 1 years’ experience in Financial Services, with exposure to managed funds. Would suit someone in compliance, risk, audit or an operational role. Have a good understanding of the service providers operations for managed investment schemes and the legal, regulatory and compliance and risk frameworks in place that govern managed investment schemes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong Attention to Detail with ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks Analytical.
