The Company: A major supplier in the events space are looking for a new Logistics Manager to join their team. With offices across the country, this role will be based in Melbourne and will play a critical role in overseeing Victorian and national logistics coordination and management. The Supplier works with high-profile clients to deliver large events. Position Terms: Permanent full-time role Working full-time in office, located in Eastern Suburbs near Glen Waverley Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus super depending on experience The Role: The Logistics Manager will report into the National Logistics and Inventory Manager, and will oversee event stock and equipment and lead a team of coordinators. The role will ensure the seamless planning, preparation and delivery of events both in Victoria and across Australia. Key Responsibilities include; Manage all aspects of logistics services within Victoria, including resourcing and stock control. Oversee all aspects of logistics services across Australia, ensuring all Coordinator's are providing exceptional service delivery for all clients and events. Lead, manage, and develop a team of National Regalia Coordinators, ensuring exceptional service delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for Victorian clients, addressing queries and special requirements. Manage the event planning, preparation, and delivery of events. Manage performance and professional development through regular one-on-one check-ins and performance management reviews. Supervise on-site operations. Ensure all areas are properly set up, including signage, equipment, and staff allocation. Coordinate inbound and outbound stock shipments, including receiving and distributing stock. Support the development and implementation of national service improvements and innovative solutions. Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and resolve queries. Participate in post-event debriefs, addressing client feedback and implementing improvements. The Candidate: The successful candidate will have experience working within the events industry in a logistics role, ideally with experience coordinating national logistics to ensure the smooth delivery of events. Exceptional communication and organisational skills are essential for this role. Experience leading and managing teams with a strong focus on people management. Strong logistical and event management expertise. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Strong organisation and time-management abilities with attention to detail. Confidence and composure under pressure, with problem-solving and conflict resolutions abilities. Hands-on approach, actively participating in event execution and logistics. Flexibility to travel to various locations, both in Victoria and interstate. Ability to work from the office 5 days a week, located in Eastern Suburbs near Glen Waverley.
