The Role Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will lead the communications team to develop and execute the annual marketing communications plan and budget. You'll drive brand equity and consistency across all channels, manage supplier relationships, and deliver effective, targeted campaigns supporting sales and marketing objectives. This includes everything from packaging and point-of-sale tools to digital strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines while motivating and developing your team to deliver on-time, high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities Define and implement the annual communication plan (product launches, promotions, PR) in line with business strategy. Manage and optimise the communications budget to achieve marketing goals. Qualify and negotiate with suppliers and agencies for best-in-class outcomes. Oversee all communication tools: packaging, catalogues, brochures, POS, PR, media relations, events. Lead digital communication: social media, EDMs, websites, SEO, demand generation. Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistent and effective branding. Monitor competitor communication activity and share insights with leadership. Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships. Manage, mentor, and develop the communications team, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising. Extensive experience in strategic and operational marketing communications. Strong team leadership skills with experience managing marketing teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative, curious, and collaborative mindset. Proven ability to manage budgets and supplier relationships. Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and KPIs.
