Sonographer – AI-Powered Rural Maternal Care Join a cutting-edge, part-time (0.5 FTE) project based at Gold Coast Uni Hospital, supporting the clinical rollout of a remote ultrasound home monitoring solution, transforming maternal care for rural communities. This 12-month contract also offers the opportunity to lead and mentor staff and students in advanced sonography practice. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced, independent real-time ultrasound examinations Responsible for the primary detection, evaluation and diagnosis of pathology/production of sonographer reports Provide active leadership in the clinical practice supervision and education of staff and students Support the clinical rollout of the remote ultrasound home monitoring solution Ability to work independently & within a team. Maintaining accurate patient records. Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues. Maintaining equipment and ensuring quality control measures. Key Skills/Qualifications Required: Minimum of 4 years of Advanced Women Imaging Strong technical skills. Tutoring experience desirable Ability to work independently. Strong patient care approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Current ASAR Registration. Relevant Ultrasound Qualification.
