We have all different kinds of roles available, ranging from welcoming team members, to retail roles, to Doorways role, plus more. We are in an exciting new location in George Street and offer so many services including, Faith, community support, thrift shop, youth and children's activities, AOD recovery, English conversation classes, craft groups, bible study, social activities and more Our community involvement includes a range of activities that care for people and work for justice such as: Project Hope which exists to bring hope to the people of Greater Dandenong by delivering services and practical assistance and by creating spaces where people can contribute and belong to community. Building Bridges, a ten week day recovery program for those whose alcohol and other drug use is causing problems for them or those they love. Program hours are designed to work around school hours for those who have caring responsibilities for children. Thrift Shop where a team of volunteers serve the community by providing affordable goods, which in turn helps to fund the community services. At The Salvation Army, people of all ages and backgrounds feel they can belong and participate in healthy community activities. We offer a place where you can connect with a family of people and have a sense of belonging. A place where you can begin to enjoy all that God has for you; a place where everyone has an opportunity to contribute positively within the community.
