About the Role As the Food, Dining, Experience & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing culinary and hospitality services across all SCC facilities. This role is instrumental in ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and compliance, while also championing dining experiences that are enjoyable, respectful, and aligned with the needs and preferences of residents. Central to this role is the implementation and ongoing integration of Aged Care Quality Standard 6, Food and Nutrition, which places residents’ nutritional wellbeing, enjoyment of food, and mealtime experience at the forefront. You will lead innovation in menu development, support culturally appropriate food choices, and ensure that meals are delivered in a way that promotes dignity, choice, and independence. Key Responsibilities Drive strategic initiatives in nutrition and food fortification to improve resident health outcomes and reduce unplanned weight loss in aged care, aligned with National Quality Indicators (NQI). Lead continuous improvement in food services through audit-driven planning, staff training, and resident-centered menu development that supports dignity, choice, and clinical standards. Embed Standard 6 by promoting nutrition, resident choice, variety, and positive mealtime experiences. Drive menu innovation to reflect seasonal, cultural, and dietary needs. Work collaboratively with clinical, lifestyle, and hospitality teams to ensure a holistic approach to food and dining. Build team capability through leadership, coaching, and performance development. Foster a culture of excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement. About You You are an experienced leader in food services, hospitality, or aged care with: Proven success managing large-scale food and hospitality operations. Strong understanding of food safety, compliance, and aged care standards. A deep commitment to person-centred care and resident experience. The ability to translate feedback into service improvements. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
