We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and a solutions-driven mindset to help deliver cost-effective, high-quality outcomes across a range of construction projects. Responsibilities include: Evaluating and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Conducting quantity take-offs and preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) using industry-standard software. Preparing and submitting cost plans, tender submissions, and feasibility studies for various residential and commercial projects. Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services. Assessing cost variations and preparing updated cost forecasts throughout the project lifecycle. Providing technical advice on cost planning, procurement strategies, and value engineering options. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project goals are met within budget constraints. Qualifications and Skills: Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in construction estimating Strong understanding of building methodologies, materials, and construction cost structures Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite High-level analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
