Development Manager – Residential An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Development Manager to join a leading property group with a portfolio of iconic assets across Australia. Representing a private investment and development company with a long-standing track record of delivering premium residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects, this role will focus on overseeing a high-profile masterplanned residential community on the northern Gold Coast. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all residential assets within this expansive masterplanned estate. This includes taking projects from feasibility through to delivery, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and maintaining the high-quality standards expected from a premium development. Reporting to the QLD Head of Development, you will lead all aspects of the residential portfolio, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full development lifecycle across multiple residential stages – from site acquisition and feasibility through to design, approvals, delivery, and handover Coordinate a wide range of consultants, contractors, and internal teams across planning, design, marketing, and construction Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and program management, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery Engage with local authorities and manage approvals and compliance Provide regular reporting to the Head of Development – QLD and broader executive team Identify opportunities for value creation, innovation, and community enhancement Required Experience & Skills: 5 years’ experience in property development, with exposure to residential and/or masterplanned communities Strong project leadership and stakeholder management capabilities Commercially astute, with a solid understanding of development feasibility and risk Excellent communication and negotiation skills Tertiary qualifications in property, construction, planning, or a related field What's on Offer: Be part of a respected developer with a premium asset portfolio Play a key role in shaping one of Queensland’s most significant residential communities Work with an experienced and supportive development team Competitive remuneration and long-term career growth This is a rare opportunity to lead the residential delivery of a landmark development with strong backing and a long-term vision.
