Without them, we would not be the successful business that we are today Job Description: The HSE Coordinator, reporting to the State HSE Manager, oversees workplace health & safety and environmental functions to meet legal requirements and stakeholder needs. Responsibilities include coordinating HSE activities for consistency, managing workers' compensation and rehabilitation, and enhancing safety awareness. They provide daily operational support for compliance and risk management, assist in implementing and maintaining the HSE management system, monitor project safety compliance, investigate incidents, and recommend changes to policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Implement and maintain safety management systems. Ensure legal compliance and execute safety reporting. Conduct inspections, meetings, and task observations. Support site teams, workers' compensation, and rehabilitation. Communicate with employees and maintain documentation. Stay updated on legislation and ensure data accuracy. Conduct site visits, audits, and incident management. Coordinate HSE training, inductions, and software usage. Seek continuous improvement and industry updates. Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Construction industry Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proven ability to develop and deliver HSE training programs. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Certified Safety Professional or other relevant certifications preferred.
