A keen interest in Emergency and critical care and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey. Ability to work a rotating roster including partaking in overnights and weekens. An ability to remain calm under pressure , while maintaining effective decision-making skills. Be able to confidently and effectively triage patients. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in anaesthesia and ventilation. Confidence working in a busy environment with competing demands To be considered for this position, applicants must have: Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse. Previous experience in Emergency / ICU would be highly regarded but is not essential.
