Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a respected school in Kew, to find an experienced HR professional for a temporary People & Culture Advisor role. This is a varied and hands-on position supporting the Director of People & Culture across compliance, policy, HR systems, and staff support. Provide advice on HR policies, procedures, and legislation Coordinate onboarding, contracts, and compliance documentation Manage employee records and HRIS data (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Synergetic) Ensure adherence to child safety standards, WWCC, VIT, and mandatory training Support staff wellbeing initiatives, learning and development programs, and events Contribute to HR reporting, audits, and process improvements Collaborate closely with Payroll to ensure accuracy across employee data What do you need? WWCC required Proven experience in a generalist People & Culture or HR role Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and the Fair Work Act Experience in the education sector (desirable but not essential) High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Polished personal presentation and a warm, approachable demeanour Availability to start immediately and commit to the full temp period A commitment to upholding child safety If you're as passionate about this position as we are, then please don't delay and APPLY NOW!
