State Medical Assistance is currently recruiting Patient Transport Officers and Ambulance Attendants to support our Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) operations from Kealba and Carrum Downs. We deliver exceptional non-emergency patient transport services and provide expert medical support at events, built on a foundation of teamwork, safety and a genuine commitment to quality care. About the Role Casual position , with potential for permanent opportunities as they become available Operate from Kealba or Carrum Downs , depending on shift availability Shifts run 10 hours, available 7 days a week, including night shifts from Carrum Downs Safely transport patients while delivering compassionate and professional care Ensure all vehicles and equipment are clean, stocked and operational Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with clinical and legal standards About You ATA qualification preferred, although experienced PTOs will be considered If qualified after 2020, you must have completed your supervised practice hours. Current First Aid and CPR certification Valid Mask Fit certificate Unrestricted driver’s licence and a clean driving record Valid Working With Children Check and National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months) Fully compliant with Category A immunisations, including annual flu vaccination and 3x COVID vaccinations Why Join SMA?
