Your primary focus will be to generate new customers for Timbertruss, as well as maintain and build relationships with a portfolio of existing customers. Reporting to the Queensland Sales Manager, this full-time position operates out of our Brendale location working Monday to Friday. We are looking for a driven, self-motivated, goal-oriented person who has a proven track record of sales and account management experience and excited by a challenge. Experience within the building materials industry is preferred but not mandatory. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Generate new customers through active prospecting. Undertake a regular call cycle with prospective and existing clients. Gather market and competitive intel. Proactively build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, with a focus of increasing share of business. Accurately complete all sales documentation. To be successful in this role, you will require the following: Proactive and self-motivated sales mindset. A natural ability to build rapport with people from varying backgrounds. Determined and goal oriented. Strong competency to use computer systems efficiently and accurately, including use of customer data base, Microsoft office suite, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
