The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Head of Safety to take full ownership of safety leadership across our operations. This senior role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a critical part in shaping our company-wide WHS strategy, building capability across site teams, and driving high safety standards across all of our operations. This is an opportunity for a safety professional with both strategic insight and operational credibility, who’s ready to lead from the front in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and refine the business-wide WHS strategy across the organisation Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to operational teams Build and embed a strong safety culture based on care for others, accountability and continuous improvement Develop and implement a robust incident investigation framework and provide assurance on critical event investigation actions Strengthen and support critical risk management and safety practices across sites Travel regularly to operational sites to maintain presence, credibility, and influence What You’ll Bring Recognised qualifications in Work Health & Safety or equivalent Deep working knowledge of WA WHS legislation, codes, and industry standards Previous experience in quarrying, concreting, mining, or heavy industry environments Strong leadership skills – able to coach, influence, and engage at all levels Experience developing safety systems, managing risk, and conducting investigations Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills Flexibility to travel regularly to the Pilbara and other regional sites Why Join MCS?
