We’re seeking a Queensland-admitted Family Law Partner (or senior practitioner ready to step up) with at least 10 years solid post-admission experience in Family Law to drive growth in their Family Law practice. This is a rare and strategic leadership role —ideal for a senior lawyer looking to take the reins of a practice and work closely with a high-calibre partnership group in a firm that is expanding rapidly across Australia and into key international markets. The Role: As a Family Law Partner, you will: Lead the family law practice across Queensland and nationally, with an eye on international growth. Manage and mentor a team of family lawyers and support staff.Take ownership of client relationships and ongoing strategy for the practice. Work collaboratively with the other Family Law Partners. Leverage your own referral network while collaborating with other partners in areas such as commercial, litigation, private client, and property law to name a few areas (but not limmitted to). Contribute to firm-wide leadership, business development, and innovation initiatives. What You Bring: Admitted to practice law in Queensland . Minimum 10 years post-admission experience in Family Law. Accredited Specialist in Family Law (highly regarded, but not essential). Demonstrated ability to lead a legal team and manage complex client matters. Existing client relationships and/or a portable practice (preferred). Commercial mindset with the drive to grow a practice within a supportive, multi-disciplinary firm.
