The Senior Mental Health Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing advanced evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team and coordinating consumers’ recovery plans and ensuring PCLI assessments and reports completed. The senior role is responsible for complex care coordination and supporting discharge planning for long stay mental health consumers, working closely with inpatient units to ensure joint care planning on transition plans and providing consultancy as required. The position will support workforce skill development enabling staff to better support people with complex mental health presentations and multiple comorbidities.
