The Role: We're on the lookout for an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician who enjoys the balance of FIFO fieldwork and hands-on workshop time. You'll thrive in a varied role, surrounded by skilled teammates and supported by a company that puts people first. Your Day-to-Day Could Include: Servicing and repairing hydraulic and mechanical systems Building and commissioning hydraulic power units Hose, tube, and component manufacture Pressure and function testing Machining and light welding Troubleshooting hydraulic systems Travelling to remote sites (FIFO) and working in our Perth-based workshop Maintaining strong customer relationships and upholding HSE & QA standards What You'll Need: Relevant trade certificates Trade Certificate in Fitting and Turning, or equivalent mechanical trade qualification At least 2 years of hands-on experience with hydraulic components (pumps, motors, valves, etc.) Valid driver's licence and Australian residency Willingness to work overtime and travel regularly for site work Nice to Have (or Willing to Learn): Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics Experience with hydraulic tubing, hoses, and fittings Troubleshooting experience Forklift, Dogman/Rigging, Working at Heights, or Confined Space tickets A desire to continue learning hydraulic principles and practices What Makes You a Great Fit: Team-focused mindset with a friendly, can-do attitude Ability to work independently and communicate clearly Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Why HWC?
