About the role As a people leader, you are expected to shape and contribute to the strategic direction of the Finance Branch, aligning procurement and contract management activities with broader College objectives. You will lead by example, coaching and supporting your direct reports to develop their own leadership capability, embed professional standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Your leadership will focus on building high-performing teams, enabling them to deliver services aligned with strategic goals while upholding compliance, efficiency, and value for money. See below for some (but not limited to) of the key responsibilities required in the role: Manages the activities and performance of the Procurement and Contracts team including outputs. Manages the Contracts Register and other compliance registers including meeting any legislative requirements. Undertakes procurement processes including planning, evaluation and contract formation in-line with the WA Procurement Rules and government procurement requirements. Manages the College’s procurement related policies and procedures. Manages the Assets and Accounts Payable administration functions for the college. Uses the latest technology to improve the efficiency of procurement and administrative operations. To be successful in this role you will have strong experience in Procurement and Contract management, preferably in an educational setting.
