We’re seeking a Bid Manager / Proposals Manager to join our high-performing commercial team. This is an impactful role where you’ll lead the end-to-end bid process for major strategic opportunities, working with leaders across the business to produce standout, customer-centric proposals that win — and retain — key accounts. What you’ll do: Own and manage the full bid lifecycle — from opportunity registration to submission Lead bid strategy development and ensure alignment with customer needs and TGE’s commercial objectives Drive the creation of compelling, compliant, and polished proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams Facilitate bid kick-off and review meetings, and manage timelines and approvals Write, review, and edit content to a high standard of clarity, tone, and brand consistency Engage with subject matter experts, legal, pricing, sales, and operations to bring proposals to life Analyse customer specifications and requirements, translating them into powerful, winning responses Maintain and continuously improve the bid content library and tools Coach and support junior team members, and champion best practice bid processes Introduce new ideas and innovations to improve bid quality, efficiency, and success rates What you’ll bring: 4 years’ experience managing end-to-end bids in a senior or lead capacity Proven ability to lead multiple, complex proposals under pressure and to deadline Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration capabilities Confidence navigating compliance, risk, and governance in a corporate environment Sound understanding of commercial principles, formal bid frameworks, and contracting language Experience in the logistics or transport industry (highly regarded, but not essential) Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing or similar (preferred) APMP Certification (Foundation or above) highly desirable Location: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide Employment Type: Full Time | 4 days in office Salary: Up to $150K (Base Super) About Team Global Express Team Global Express (TGE) is an Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand.
