This role is permanent and can be based within the Essential Energy footprint within Regional NSW About the role As the Senior Integration Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support, development, and expertise for Essential Energy’s integration platforms. You will lead operational support activities, manage integration risks, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of key technologies. Your role will involve solution design, development, testing, implementation, and support activities for integration systems. Lead operational support activities, including incident and problem management Manage and communicate integration risks, priorities, and timings Raise and work through support calls with vendors of supported systems Design, develop, test, and promote integration solutions for new or changed requirements Mentor and guide junior team members and external consultants About You You are an experienced ICT professional with a strong background in integration platforms and technologies. Your expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex ICT systems, along with your ability to provide operational support and manage integration risks, makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You are proactive, innovative, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions and continuous improvement. Extensive experience in a similar role within an ICT environment Practical experience with enterprise helpdesk software and incident management Extensive experience working on MS Azure Integration Platform Working knowledge and exposure to Azure Key Vault, REST operations, SOAP operations, OAUTH2 providers, XML, Kafka and SQL Server Understand high level architecture and requirements to translate into integration solution & design Ability to mentor and guide junior team members and external consultants Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills Skills and working knowledge of: Azure Function Apps, C# - with acute skills in Azure function app management Private End Point Management Azure CICD/Devops for Azure Service Bus (Queues, Topics, Dead-lettering) Azure Event Grid and Event Hub (Event-based integration patterns) API Management / Azure API Gateway Azure KeyVault & Application Insights Experienced in C# Programming with: Azure Service Bus - Publish / 1 to many Subscribe patterns Azure Event Grid / Event Hub - Publish & subscribe patterns APIM invocations Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
