The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects, in line with the contracted security services provided by MSS Security across various public housing locations, ensuring that client and contract needs are met at all times and provide leadership and management to all MSS Security employees on site. About the role: MSS Security is looking for an experienced Security Services Manager to oversee the daily operations across multiple government housing sites. You will be responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness and success of the security team on-site, w hilst building and maintaining relationships with both your team and stakeholders. Your responsibilities in this role will include, but not limited to: Monitor and respond to incidents, emergencies, and breaches of security. Conduct site visits to audit performance and address site-specific issues Recruit, train, and evaluate security officers assigned to the estate. Conduct regular briefings and debriefings with security staff. Handle disciplinary issues and performance management. Maintain positive relationships with residents and address security concerns. Liaise with local police and emergency services as needed. Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits of the estate. Oversee security operations across multiple housing estates within the designated area. Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, procedures, and service standards. Ensure all sites comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and contractual obligations. Conduct regular audits and inspections for quality assurance. Respond to serious incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken. Support and guide site teams in handling major incidents, emergencies, or investigations. Review incident reports, identify trends, and implement preventative measures across the area. Promote a culture of safety, vigilance, and professionalism across the team. Support rollout and standardization of security technologies across sites. Ensure consistency in use of systems such as reporting apps, patrol tracking, or CCTV platforms. What we are looking for: Current Victorian Security License with Control Room Endorsement Full Australian working rights WWCC (Working With Children's Check) or willing to obtain Certificate IV in Security Management Prior experience of line management of staff in complex environments Ability to resolve conflicts and risk management Well-organised and initiative-taking with the ability to prioritise in a face paced environment. This position includes a company vehicle for traveling to various sites during work hours. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
