Job Scope: A leadership role that would require hitting the balance between the very local external environment and typical MNC/global internal working environment to drive growth in mature markets. The role involves leading an organization, covering Account Management, Marketing & Technical. Close working relationship with other functions such as Operations, HR, Finance, Pricing, PSRA, at the country/sub-region level & with Regional / Global Functions including Regional Innovation. A high energy role which requires hitting the balance between being local and driving global business in a local context. The Role Mandate Overarching Goal: Turn around the Oceania business & generate and deliver profitable business growth and build organizational capabilities to meet the 2025 ambition and beyond. Translate strategy into execution and annual operating plans. Manage the sub-regional ‘P&L’ ensuring achievement of sales, expense targets and profitability targets through close regional collaboration and accountability with operations as applicable. Develop senior-level relationships with key customers in the sub-region and lead multi-level engagement and collaborations. Lead development and execution of the sub-regional growth strategy including business development and partnership opportunities for key segments/customers, technology platforms, and Integrated Solutions. Build, lead and develop a high performing team and drive the talent and succession agenda for the sub-region. Develop positive working relationships with the regional team and key stakeholders. Communicate, inspire, motivate, and engage the team & ensure that growth objectives are met without diluting Givaudan culture & DNA. Critical Priorities Deliver the annual targets aligned to the 2025 strategy plan & ensure that Givaudan gains market share. Expand partnership with different stakeholders like Operations and ensure short and medium priorities. Coach the Commercial organization on how to use knowledge to develop frameworks for selling beyond technical capabilities. Lead 2030 Strategy development and prepare the organization for the execution of the 2030 Strategy. Mentor and coach the team and ensure engagement and morale of the team. Develop talent and succession plan ensuring key talent has a robust development plan and accelerate readiness through stretch assignments & where possible deploying them in geographies beyond the sub-region. Develop strong relationships with the Regional team & ensure that they provide solutions which help achieve ambitious growth targets.
