We are a cabinetry diverse business that has all types of projects. They range from full architectural home fitouts, craftsmen kitchens, unique wardrobes, the odd commercial/investment property, refacing, and cut and edge for other smaller joiners. We have a team of seven people and are looking to hire an experienced cabinetmaker on permanent and full-time position. We are a tight nit group and respect the concept of a work-life balance. We believe in treating our team right and love a good Friday afternoon catch up with the crew. We are looking for an apprentice and experienced cabinetmaker that will lead in building and installing their own projects from start-to-finish. Your roll would include and not limited to: - Liaising with all project stakeholders to turn the client's vision into a reality. - Building beautiful bespoke joinery - Install each project from start-to-finish with the help of our team. - Take real accountability to deliver in full and on-time. - Meeting clients and project stakeholders onsite - Slowly learning to use Microvellum, training provided. - Site Measuring with project manager - Understand basic project management software and inputting time sheets on your phone. - Understand OHS WPSWS Our ideal candidates would: - Understand interior CAD drawings - Have a Cabinetmaking background - At least 2 year’s of relevant work experience. - Have completed a Cert III in cabinetmaking or equivalent - Experience in bespoke high end residential prototype projects - Craftsman approach, but growth mindset - Likes technology - Understand DIFOT & LEAN manufacturing - Basic computer skills and understands excel. - Understands Microvellum of CAD software - Patient, able to learn our systems and processes. - SMART goal oriented - Valid Drivers license - Be able to work in Australia Perks of working with Interspec: - Great culture with an awesome team - Small, nimble, diverse, agile, lean, and can adapt to changes in the market quicker than the bigger companies. - Growing business with lots of opportunity to grow with steady work.
