Due to an increased workload, Matrix Steel has created a brand new position, seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our Gladstone team. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on building strong relationships - both in person and over the phone - and is passionate about delivering quality service and supporting business growth. RESPONSIBILITIES Serve and liaise with both Trade and Retail Customers. Answer customer enquiries over both email and phone. Support the wider team with customer quotes and processing orders. Assist customers by helping to load their orders via forklift. Unload the internal deliveries via forklift/reach truck. Engage in regular training provided by the company to enhance skills. Conduct duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant safety policies and procedures. ABOUT YOU Have or are willing to obtain a forklift ticket. Can do attitude and willing to assist in multiple areas of the business. Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs. Good communicator, both written and verbal. Enjoys working as part of a team. Desire to grow and develop both professionally and personally. Willingness to learn new things.
