Location: Sydney / Melbourne Experience: 5 years We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Sales Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts in Australia. Based in Sydney, this individual will be responsible for business development and client engagement across our key service offerings: E-commerce, Business Intelligence (BI), Salesforce, and Application Development . The ideal candidate is someone with a deep understanding of the Australian IT landscape, proven experience in new business acquisition and enterprise account management , and strong analytical and communication skills to drive consultative sales and engage clients throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities As an Individual Contributor: ● Primary Goal: Identify, engage, and convert new clients in priority industry sectors across Australia. ● Secondary Goal: Act as a client-facing consultant during project execution – understand business needs, and coordinate with internal teams. ● Generate leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, events, and networking. ● Nurture leads generated by the internal demand generation team. ● Manage and grow existing accounts to increase wallet share and build long-term partnerships. ● Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities. ● Drive the entire sales cycle – from prospecting and solution presentations to proposal negotiation and contract closure. ● Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and delivery teams to align solutions with client needs. ● Maintain a robust sales pipeline, forecast revenue. Key Responsibilities As a Team Collaborator: ● Support creation of go-to-market strategies tailored for the Australian market. ● Share client feedback to enhance internal capabilities and solution offerings. ● Handle escalations, objections, and client concerns in a proactive manner. ● Share Australia-specific insights with the global team. ● Participate in global sales discussions to represent Australia’s growth potential. Required Skills & Qualifications ● 5 years of experience in the Australian market, preferably based in Sydney. ● Proven success in IT sales, especially in eCommerce (Magento, Adobe Commerce, Shopify), BI, Salesforce, and custom application development. ● Strong business analysis and consulting mindset – able to understand and translate client needs into actionable solutions. ● Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. ● Demonstrated success in enterprise sales and strategic account management. ● Capable of working independently and making data-driven decisions. Education & Experience ● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business (MBA preferred). ● 5 years of relevant experience in sales and client engagement within the IT industry. ● Experience working with both local and international clients is an advantage.
