About the Role GAAM is seeking to hire an experienced Stock Control/Warehousing Manager to join our production team based in Thomastown. The primary focus of this role is to take total ownership of all stock control/impacting functions including, but not limited to ordering, receipting, and goods despatch across the entire GAAM business. Ideally, we are looking for a team player who displays leadership, has an eye for detail and prioritises customer service and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities , include but are not limited to:- Maintaining maximum and minimum stock levels and assisting the Operations Manager with all aspects of warehousing and stock control and the management of periodical stock takes. Accurate and timely receipting and despatching of all orders and deliveries. Supporting our team of Sales Managers with all sales related matters. Ordering parts to meet production schedules and processing of purchase orders. Maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) responsibilities, ensuring full compliance with company/site policies and procedures. What We’re Looking For Ability to work in a multi-skilled team to achieve set objectives. Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Previous experience using Pronto IT system would be advantageous, but not imperative. Strong understanding of Stock Management and Stock Take requirements in a Manufacturing environment. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to prioritise workload and identify and resolve customer needs in a timely manner. Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills with all stakeholders. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Flexibility and reliability. Prior warehouse experience and a current forklift license is a must.
