Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Site Supervisor/Trainee to oversee the construction and installation of granny flats. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction-related tasks and be able to manage on-site operations efficiently. Don’t worry if you are not trained, we will train you! Key Responsibilities: · Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, within quality standards. · Oversee assist and maintaining job sites, ensuring safety regulations are met. · Manage fence and camera installation, · kitchen installation door fix-out experience would be an asset but not a must. · Conduct quality checks and address any issues related to workmanship. · Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. · Maintain a clean and organized site, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. · Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management to provide updates on project progress. · Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly. Qualifications & Requirements: · Minimum 1 year of experience in construction-related tasks, including cleaning, maintaining, fence installation, kitchen installation, and door fix-out work. · Carpentry license is not mandatory but will be highly regarded. · Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct a team. · Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. · Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations in Australia. · Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints. · Strong communication and organizational skills. · Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
