Due to continual growth, our company is seeking a reliable, highly motivated full-time Sheetmetal Worker to add to our team. With the increase of the business, we are looking for a Sheetmetal Worker , reliable, hardworking, trustful person that wants to use his/her skills to work for our company located at Smithfield. Duties and Responsibilities: Interpreting and reading blueprints, drawling and specifications to define material, equipment and quantity required for the job; Shaping, producing, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment; Setting up and operating machines to cut, bend, shape and straighten sheetmetal; Operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts; Inspecting individual parts, assemblies, and installations for conformance to specifications and building codes, using measuring instruments or any other equipment required; Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts and rivets. Fastening seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering; Selecting gauges and types of sheet metal or non-metallic material, according to product specifications; Finalizing products by polishing, shaving, smoothing and cleaning assembled materials; Maintaining equipment, making repairs and modifications when necessary; Transporting prefabricated parts to construction sites for assembly and installation. Required Skills: Relevant qualifications; and Minimum 2 years work experience. Hand-eye coordination; Use a wide-range of hand tools and equipment during installation; Lift heavy sheets onto roofs and move materials around; Excellent math skills; Strong attention to detail with skills in customer service and communication Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
