The Role: Lindsay Rural is currently seeking a Storeperson to join the team at our Woolgoolga branch. The Storeperson is responsible for receiving all stock for the area and ensure that it is stored and supplied in line with business requirements and counter / store front sales and service. A hybrid role, the primary duties will include: Stock control and receiving of goods. Stock distribution, storing and preparing for dispatching. Loading and unloading trucks (forklift) Counter / store front sales and service. Take customer orders and payments in person or over the phone where required. Record chemicals as per Lindsay Rural procedures. General store duties as required. About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Current and valid Forklift ticket. Prior experience in a similar role or industry. Excellent customer service and relationship building skills. A positive attitude with great communication skills and a willingness to learn. The ability to multitask and prioritise. Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. To be successful for this role applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test. Be flexible and able to work over weekends as required. Able to work in and around chemical, fertilizer, nutrient and packaging.
