About the Role: Employed by Webuild , we are seeking a proactive and passionate Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at the Stabling and Maintenance Facility (SMF) in Orchard Hills. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment on one of Western Sydney’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and leadership to implement and continuously improve safety systems, promote a positive safety culture, and ensure alignment with project and legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities: Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety plans and procedures across the SMF site. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and project-specific standards. Facilitate incident investigations and support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Provide health and safety advice, training, and support to construction personnel and subcontractors. Promote a strong safety culture through engagement, coaching, and visible leadership. Maintain safety documentation, including SWMS, toolbox talks, site induction records, and incident reports. Assist with safety reporting and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Liaise with client representatives, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure proactive safety communication and coordination. What We’re Looking For: Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a health and safety role within construction, infrastructure, or rail environments. Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and safety systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels. Attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Experience working in high-risk environments or on major infrastructure projects is desirable. A commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for driving positive safety outcomes. Why Join Us?
