This position will contribute to teaching, research, governance, and community engagement in the Occupational Health and Safety program. The role will contribute to the development of innovative and world class research and teaching programs, achieved through collaborative research projects with academic colleagues, community and industry partners; innovative curricula that mee TEQSA and professional accreditation standards; effective partnerships with the community, practitioners, researchers, an government and nongovernment agencies; and productive collaborative arrangements across the university with academic colleagues and research institutes. The position will have the specific responsibility for teaching and coordination of subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. About You You are a highly qualified professional with a doctoral qualification, or significant progress towards one, in Occupational Health and Safety and have certification as an Occupational Hygienist (COH). You have a proven record of delivering innovative, high-quality teaching in tertiary or professional education environments, with demonstrated success in course design and implementation. Your expertise in occupational hygiene and health and safety is matched by your ability to integrate teaching, research, and work-based learning in these areas. With outstanding interpersonal skills, you build strong relationships with colleagues, government, industry, and community stakeholders. You bring extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and have established professional networks, enabling you to foster new collaborations that enhance the discipline's research and teaching strengths.
