It draws together collaborators from the ASSH Faculty and wider UOW to conduct interdisciplinary research and delivers educational programs within the Discovery Space. Research translation is a priority and the Discovery Space and partners are key research translation spaces. Partners (community, education, government, industry) are critical to enable Early Start to achieve its vision. Early Start strives to connect research, education and community to improve the life trajectories for children, especially those growing up in regional and remote Australia. About the Position The Early Start Community Outreach Officer is responsible for the delivery of outreach activities independently and alongside other relevant professional and academic staff, in the pursuit of advancement of knowledge about childhood development and learning for children and their adults. This position is responsible for creating, delivering and evaluating impact on these activities in alignment with Early Start's focus on the CHILD. The position requires a strong background in Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Education and working with complex communities. In this role you will build authentic relationships with community partners utilising Early Start facilities on the UOW campus.
