Description As a Disability Support Worker at Bamara, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Dubbo. Responsibilities: Providing direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities according to their individualised NDIS plans. Assisting clients with daily activities while promoting independence and community participation. Supporting clients in developing life skills, including personal care, household tasks, and social interactions. Implementing strategies to address challenging behavior's and promote positive outcomes for clients. Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on client progress and any incidents or concerns. Engaging with clients in a respectful and person-centered manner to understand their needs and preferences. Delivering high-quality support services that align with the goals outlined in each client's NDIS plan. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, families, and other service providers to ensure holistic care for clients. Skills And Experiences Desired Skills and Experience Previous experience in providing support and care for individuals with disabilities (highly regarded). Must have an extensive availability and be able to work on weekends, morning, day, afternoon and night shifts.
