Overview: Full-time, Fixed Term position until June 2028 $103,603 - $112,144 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working About You The Program Coordinator (Study Tours), Asia Impact, supports RMIT University’s vision to be a leading university of impact in the Asia Pacific region through coordinating the project and delivery needs of study tours (tailored short-form academic and engagement programs) and delegations for visiting international government and industry partners. This includes designing and delivering study tours for the RMIT Asia Hub , which brings together strategic initiatives including the Australia Vietnam Policy Institute (AVPI) , a partnered platform supporting the Australia- Vietnam relationship. The role will work under broad direction to develop and deliver programs for study tours and delegations, including program design, academic mapping, stakeholder engagement, travel coordination, scheduling, reporting, procurement, event support and onsite coordination. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently to drive high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this position, you’ll have: Demonstrated organisational and coordination skills, particularly in planning and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs or events. Experience working across internal teams and with external stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, including drafting schedules, briefing packs and stakeholder correspondence. Demonstrated experience using project management methodologies and tools. Self-starter with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and service delivery. Experience working in cross-cultural contexts or international engagement preferred. Existing experience working with or engaging government stakeholders is highly regarded.
