How you will make contributions that matter: We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our team in Burnie, Tasmania. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising maintenance activities across our highly automated dairy manufacturing site. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure asset reliability, minimise downtime, and support compliance with safety and food quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the site’s maintenance schedule using CMMS (e.g., SAP PM). Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance (PM), shutdowns, and long-term maintenance strategies. Liaise with stakeholders across production, quality, and safety to align maintenance priorities. Ensure spare parts availability and manage procurement coordination. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and asset history. Support continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance planning and reliability. Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and food safety standards. Skills & Experience: Proven experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience in the food, beverage, or dairy industry will be highly regarded. Trade qualifications or a background in engineering, will be highly regarded or a strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance practices. Knowledge of Lean, TPM, or reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) principles. Strong knowledge of CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto, MEX). Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
