Description As the Cleansing Services Officer you will be responsible for providing self-managed cleansing services that ensures Parramatta’s public domain is maintained and improved to enhance the cleanliness and appearance of the city, and to promote Parramatta as Australia’s next great city! Key Responsibilities: Identify illegal dumps, litter picking, pressure washing, amenities and BBQ cleaning within the public domain. Undertake a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services team to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the care of the team. Undertake inspections of the public domain and assets to ensure that Council’s exposure to liability is minimised. Hours: Monday to Friday-11:30am-8:30pm About You We are looking for someone with: Current NSW ‘C’ Class Driver’s License White Card Previous experience working in an operational role. The capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the role. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to work independently. What’s on offer We are offering an attractive remuneration from $65,814- $72,473 plus 12% Superannuation. This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.
