The role Reporting into the Head of Innovation, the UX Lead (Innovation) role is a newly created role within the Innovation team. You will be responsible for leading and driving the Innovation Experience vision, by delivering any user experience, product and service design outputs across the innovative lifecycle. Collaborating closely with the Incubation Lead and Customer Discovery Lead, you will support the creative development and execution of value propositions, MVP’s, services and user experiences that align with Acenda’s strategic objectives and innovative goals, to solve real business problems and deliver measurable outcomes. As Innovation Experience Lead, you will foster and champion a culture of creativity, encourage collaboration across business units, and employ customer-centric techniques and methods in the design, incubation, validation and execution of breakthrough propositions, products and experiences, from MVP through to growth and scale. About you An experienced CX/UX/Service Design professional with a strong human-centered design and mindset, you possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in UX, product, and / or service design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design leadership with a bias to innovation. You may come from a start-up or corporate venture background which enables you to work in ambiguity and at pace, ideally in a Financial Services or FinTech context. You demonstrate a strong ability when it comes to customer research, insights gathering, synthesis and ability to turn into actionable design strategies and concepts. While you possess a strong commercial acumen, you still play a hands-on role and is proficient in design, prototyping and other MVP development tools. Lastly, your outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) coupled with your ability to engage and interact, will enable you to facilitate conversations, workshops and presentations to a variety of stakeholders across all seniority levels.
