Please click here to access the role description Your typical day-to-day work will include: As an Associate Director in MPD, you will lead and manage the development, delivery and communication of a range of policies to support the government in the infrastructure and construction sectors, and the policies to manage and deliver strategic transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of the policy context within which the team operates. As a Senior Policy Officer manages and coordinates the development and implementation of a range of policy initiatives to contribute to the delivery of policy initiatives that support the government in the infrastructure and construction sector, and policies to manage and deliver strategic transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of the policy context within which the team operates. Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is paramount, as is your contribution to improving the delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy with Treasury teams and agency counterparts. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: Ability to lead complex policy development, including researching and analysing emerging issues, and developing evidence-based solutions Ability to provide advice to government through Apply your expertise in policy, particularly infrastructure and construction procurement policy, economy and fiscal policy and governance Influence whole-of-government policy and contribute to economic reform. Have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Demonstrated success in managing cross-agency projects and leading multidisciplinary teams. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and consensus-building across government and private sectors.
