The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor or Senior Associate to join our leading Project Finance team in Melbourne. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with Partner, Gerard Pike, a leading project finance and renewable energy practitioner and leading partners Miles Wadley and Jon Evans with exciting energy and infrastructure project finance practices. You will gain high-end advisory and transactional experience working on significant project and asset acquisition finance, renewable energy and infrastructure financing transactions. You will have extensive client exposure and opportunities to develop a network of relationships. You will benefit from exceptional learning opportunities working in a team of highly ambitious and talented professionals. To be successful in this role, you will have: an unrestricted Australian or New Zealand practicing certificate; 3 years' legal experience; preferably experience across project finance matters from a leading top tier, national or international private practice or at least extensive general or structured finance transaction experience from a leading top tier, national or international private practice; an excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset; a proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team; an ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously; excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team; and have a hunger to learn and develop, and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice.
