Our Risk team is looking for a Senior Residual Value and Strategic Risk Analyst. What awaits you? Responsible for the BMW Guaranteed Future Values and RV Values of BMW Group vehicles for recommendation and approval by the National Risk Committee. Management of Residual Value reserves to ensure adequate provision coverage of the portfolio and minimisation of expected losses. Regular review and monitoring of Residual Value risk ratios (Standard risk cost, Reserves and Value at Risk) to ensure ratios are up to date and accurately reflect the existing risk portfolio. Actively monitor the competitive price position of BMW Guaranteed Future Values to provide steering recommendations for retail support. Drive the provisioning process through monitoring the used car market and BMW auctions while providing insights into trends and developments. Investigate the competitive market landscape to identify opportunities related to Residual Value product offerings to steer new business growth. Prepare regular reporting suite to senior management and the risk committee highlighting key focus areas of all risk management topics. What you will bring? A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance or equivalent required. Strong knowledge of the financial services industry with experience in financial forecasting and reporting. Demonstrated statistical and analytical skills with proficiency in reporting tools such as SAS, Tableau, and the MS Office Suite. Well-developed capabilities in interpreting, analysing and presenting detailed information both orally and in a written format. Proven understanding of the used car industry is advantageous.
