The Company: We are currently seeking an experienced Company Accountant to join a dynamic ASX-listed organisation undergoing a pivotal phase of commercial transformation. This is a critical, high-impact role that will play a key part in strengthening financial operations and supporting the business through a period of significant change. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position offers exposure to group-level financial operations and will play a critical role in the integrity of reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of statutory accounts in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and ASX reporting obligations Maintain and improve internal control systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Lead the preparation of financial statements, board reporting packs, and audit processes. Support the organisation through the commercial transformation by providing clear financial insights, risk assessments, and process improvements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with key business units. Ensure ongoing compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements (GST, BAS, FBT, etc.) Liaise with external auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders across finance and operations. Your Skills & Experience CA or CPA qualified, with experience in a Chartered Accounting firm (highly desirable) Minimum 3 years' experience in a company accounting or group reporting environment Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards, compliance, and corporate reporting Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and with senior stakeholders. Ability to communicate with a variety of people in different functions.
