About the Role: We’re currently seeking a Leading Hand to join our Ausco team, based in Kalgoorlie. As the Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Hire Yard including the hire, maintenance, and logistics of our modular buildings. Key duties will include: Minor repair and maintenance work Preparing, cleaning and packing buildings to hire standards Processing paperwork of the installation & return of hire assets Performing monthly stocktakes Ensuring all customer requests for service are handled promptly and in a professional manner Preparing hire buildings for transit Unpacking and test run/cleaning ancillaries when buildings are returned from hire Operating forklifts to load / unload materials and buildings About You: Experience in the modular buildings/construction industry preferred Trade background (carpentry or maintenance handyperson) An understanding of transport/logistics coordination Forklift License or willing to obtain Open driver’s license - essential Strong safety focus Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) What we Offer: Short- and long-term incentive programs Salary packaging options Discounted corporate private health insurance with Bupa Equipment and appliance discount (volume discount across LG and Fisher & Paykel’s product range) Discounts for you and your family members at Specsavers Six weeks paid parental leave (primary caregiver) and two weeks (secondary caregiver) Access to our Health & Wellness Program including gym memberships Education Assistance Program Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia.
