Position: Project Quality Representatives - Bridges Start: ASAP Location: Wagga Wagga Start asap $46.79 ph - Super Our government client is seeking a Project Quality Representative for bridge maintenance and construction projects throughout the Wagga Wagga area. This role requires camping away from the Depot (Wagga) majority of the time. Accommodation will be provided, and allowances paid when camped away. Key accountabilities for this role include: Complete quality audit checklists at site with Team Leaders and complete administration requirements for the quality system. Ensure correct safe work method statements are being used for the various site activities. Complete asset data collection on recordable items. Solve routine problems that arise, refer to standard guidelines and manuals, and collaborate with supervisors and managers to resolve problems and minimise risks. Guide team members and develop capability to ensure team tasks are completed effectively. Understand and maintain knowledge of WHS legislation, policies and procedures. Understand and follow environmental procedures, including identifying and reporting environmental hazards, rectifying simple hazards without direction. The essential criteria for this role includes: Construction Industry Certification (White Card). Current Workers On Foot ticket (or willing to obtain). Ability to work as a member of a team. Possess or willing to get Traffic Control ticket. Ability to work in close proximity to traffic. Class C Drivers Licence or greater. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Flexibility to work outside regular working hours and travel to other locations as required.
